Terms & Conditions

1. Offer
   All our offers are without engagement, interim sales can occur and delivery dates are subject to change. Time of delivery is estimated on past experience, begins after reception of your order and verification of all the details.
2. Order confirmation
   The confirmation is subject to correct supply by our suppliers.
3. Implementation
   All our products comply with accepted Swiss standards. Electrical motors are 400 V 50 Hz unless mentioned otherwise.
4. Delivery terms
   Fees are listed in the section delivery fees. After the goods have left ELVAmac SA, shipment is at the risk of the client. Hazardous items are subject to shipping restrictions. We choose the most cost-effective suitable shipping method.
5. Prices
   Switzerland: ex works, packaging is included in the shipping costs. VAT is calculated separately and not included in our prices. Other countries; ex works, packaging costs, documents, insurance, customs clearance, etc. are charged separately. Prices do not include VAT. Catalogue prices, price lists and prices on our website are subject to change and may be changed without notification.
6. Payment
   Switzerland: 30 days net unless otherwise agreed. Other countries: before shipment unless otherwise agreed. Un-authorized deductions will be claimed. With the 2nd reminder a fee will be charged.
7. Assembly/Installation
   Will be charged separately if carried out by our workshop. All works, not mentioned in the offer, are at the expense of the customer.
8. In the offer, the duties falling upon the supplier and the customer will be specified if necessary.
9. After sales service
   ELVAmac SA provides professional and efficient service for all of her products. Our workshop has an extensive stock of replacement parts and is equipped to handle all services and repairs. For inquiries or when placing an order for spare parts please refer to the catalogue article number and the fabrication number of your machine
   
10. Defects
    The client is obliged to inspect products within 8 days of delivery and report any defects or missing parts, including the fabrication / serial number to ELVAmac SA. Transport damage due to deficient packaging will only be acknowledged if this damage is reported immediately after delivery to the shipping agent in written form.
    
11. Guarantee
    We guarantee our customer thorough and professional service. In case of defective products the client has the right of free replacement (ex works Denges). In case of delivery through ELVAmac SA as middleman where the merchandise could not be inspected by us, the customer is only entitled to full replacement if ELVAmac SA is able to receive such replacement from the original supplier. Otherwise ELVAmac SA is only liable for damages explicitly by grossly negligent and / or intentional contract violation by ELVAmac SA. All other liability for direct or indirect damage is as regulated by law. ELVAmac SA does not take responsibility for lab analysises and subsequent consequences.
    
12. Returned goods are only accepted if there was a written agreement between the customer and ELVAmac SA. Resulting costs for ELVAmac SA will be charged.
    
13. Place of jurisdiction and fulfillment is Denges.
    
14. The French edition of these general conditions is binding, the English and German translations are provided for the convenience of the customer only.
    
15. Opening hours monday to friday 7:30 am to noon; 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm (fridays to 4:00 pm)
